Almost everyone has experience in hiccups. Sometimes it takes a long time to stop. The bad thing is it interrupts our verbal and oral activities.so here are some tips to get rid of hiccups.
Hold your breath
Hold your breath for 10 to 20 seconds and breathe out slowly. Repeat until the hiccup disappear.
Breath into a paper bag
Try only a paper bag. Never use a plastic one. Breath in and out into the paper bag and repeat if necessary.
Put pressure on the chest.
Don’t overdo it. Put some pressure on the chest until hiccup disappears.
Drink cold water
Drinking ice water can help do get rid of hiccups.
Suck an ice cube
Suck ice cube for few minutes and shallows it.
Eat sugar
Get sugar and put it on your tongue. Just put it there for few seconds and shallow it.
Distract your self
Try to engage In different works. Make yourself busy. Hiccups always go away when we stop focusing on that.
